We’re excited to announce a new partnership with Árón Taylor-Smith for the 2025 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Dayinsure as it ventures into the world of motorsport, once more.
Taylor-Smith joins Speedworks Motorsport
For the 2025 season, Irish driver Árón Taylor-Smith will join Speedworks Motorsport, the team behind Toyota Gazoo Racing UK. Fresh from being crowned Independents Champion at Brands Hatch last autumn, Taylor-Smith’s impressive campaign included 20 class victories and two outright podium finishes. His consistency, speed, and racecraft made him the only driver to score points in all 30 races last season.
Taylor-Smith will drive one of the team’s manufacturer-backed Toyota Corolla GR Sport cars, a highly successful model in the modern-day BTCC with 17 victories, 30 podiums, five pole positions, and 10 fastest laps since 2019.
Dayinsure branding on the BTCC stage
The 2025 season will feature Dayinsure’s branding on Taylor-Smith’s BTCC car, race helmet, and Toyota Gazoo Racing BTCC clothing. This partnership aims to maximize brand exposure and engage with a broad audience of motorsport fans.
Taylor-Smith expressed his enthusiasm:

Local connection with Oulton Park
Dayinsure’s head office is located in Tarporley, near the iconic BTCC venue Oulton Park. This local connection adds a special touch to the partnership. Oulton Park was a highlight of Taylor-Smith’s 2024 campaign, where he scored his first outright podium of the season.
The partnership will leverage the high visibility of the BTCC, with all races broadcast live on ITV4, capturing Dayinsure’s branding and significantly increasing brand exposure.
Taylor-Smith added:
“The fact that the Dayinsure offices are so close to Oulton Park was a clear sign that this is a match made in heaven. We have unique activations planned for the season, including a visit to the offices for driving challenges. I’m sure I’ll make a show of myself, but hopefully, I’ll redeem myself when the Dayinsure team joins me on race day at Oulton Park.”
Looking ahead to the 2025 season
Preparations are in full swing for Taylor-Smith ahead of the opening race at Donington Park on April 27th. With preseason testing around the corner, the move to Toyota Gazoo Racing is set to give Taylor-Smith his best chance of success in the BTCC to date.
